I just started getting these awesome boxes. It's like Christmas every month! I got my first one last month and just got this one today. Here are pics of everything that came in this month's box. I have been very impressed by these boxes so far. Can't wait to try some of this stuff!

Gulf Coast Bass Anglers Seminole Tournament- April

The weather was horrible again. It was a heavy mist with strong winds all day. It was slow until the last few hours. I found a bluff type bank with grass that was holding a lot of fish. I ended up with 3 nice bass and 2 catfish! I caught one bass off a bed and the other 2 and those catfish were off that one bank. I lost about 3 fish off that bank also. I ended up with 7lbs+ for 3rd place. I had to go in an hour early due to the waves were nearly flipping me. I also got biggest trash fish with a 9.97lb blue cat. I thought I had something good when that blue cat got on!

Gulf Coast Bass Anglers tournament on Martin Lake- 1st place!!!

I got to the lake and put my boat in at around 5:00. First boat there. The guy that runs the tournament was there already. He said I couldn't fish by myself, I had to fish with a member in the first tournament. I was ready to pull my boat out and go home, but I thought for a few minutes and said to myself that it would be better to fish than go home. So I told him I would fish with someone. I got paired with David Ross. We launched out last and headed to a spot I had told him about. Right off the bat we both caught one. An hour or two later we headed to a spot he wanted to try. I caught a 3lber and that was it until about 1:30 for me when I caught one that was faning a bed. David ended up with 4 and I had 3. Not felling too good about my bag after another guy had a limit I headed to the scales. My bag put me in first place at 6.42lbs. and I had first and second place big fish at the time. Tough day! The guy with the limit had a dead fish and couldn't beat me out of first. I ended up wining and getting 1st and 2nd place big fish!

Installed New LEDs On My Boat- Not Bluewater LED

Didn't get to fish the last tournament cause my partner backed out last second, but Ive have some time to work on the boat. So I bought these led strips off ebay about a month ago. Got them wired up today and tested them out tonight. They are amazing and waterproof! They light up the boat soooo good. For all the led strips I paid about $5.00! Not putting down Bluewater LED, but this is an amazing alternative for cheap. If you would like to know how I did everything comment and Ill write up another post with pics of wiring also. I have bought 8 more strips I'm gonna put under the trailer and a few more in the boat when I get the new decking done. Deerpoint Lake Team Trail Tournament Saturday

I've been fishing Deerpoint since we moved down here with varying success. The last 2 days we practiced and only caught one decent fish. Today I got out on the water before sunrise until about 8:00am and tried something new in the same spots I had been fishing. What a difference a simple change can make. Cast after cast they were all over it. Caught a couple then left the best spot alone. Didn't set the hook on a couple also. I'm hoping I'll do pretty good Saturday! Couldn't help but notice everyone else practicing looked confused like I was...until today.
